Uncommon Plugins

Another one of my earliest endeavors in exploring the WordPress business space.

www.uncommonplugins.com

In exploring WordPress in 2016, I discovered the need for a lot of functions that were unavailable. So I hired developers to create them for me.

And I needed a place to put them all.

So, once again, decided that maybe it would be great to set up a website and offer products.

Except this time I would buy into the “freemium” model of WordPress. I would give away all these products and build up a mailing list in the process.

Except these products were niche products – so the mailing list never got big enough to do anything worthwhile with it.

As it turns out, the majority of people go to WordPress.org FIRST to find anything they need. The idea of searching outside of that for anything related to WordPress doesn’t compute.

Another WordPress based failure.
