Recently I’ve seen a lot of articles about how the demand for office space has dried up as companies continue to let their employees work from home.
I agree with this view. However, I think that coupled with the lower demand for traditional office space will be an increase in demand for flex office space – the kind that is a specialty of WeWork.
Companies will still likely want space where their employees can get together and even work away from home. This is exactly the sweet spot for flex office space providers.
As companies cut down on traditional offices they will replace some of that space with flex space.
Which might just hand WeWork the lifeline it needs!
