CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS

Automated Trading Systems

As principal of Structured Markets Inc, CTA, developed multiple automated trading systems that have contributed to double digit investment returns.

Managing Large Budgets

As Senior Vice President of R&D for a leading supply chain software company, I managed a budget of over 10,000,000 dollars per year (in mid 1990s dollars) and was responsible for creating most of the software products that generated revenues for the company.

IPOs

As Senior Vice President of R&D for the same supply chain software company, I was part of the management team that took the company public in 2000.

Small Companies

As an employee with a very small software development firm, I worked my way up to senior management as the company grew from 5 people to over 600 in 13 offices worldwide.

Mergers and Acquisitions

As Vice President of R&D, I was part of the team that integrated two companies acquired over time. One of the companies was 3 times the size of the acquiring company. This included the rather difficult task of melding technologies and painting a cohesive product and technology vision for customers and employees.

Software Development

As the Lead Developer and Project Manager of a small software company, I was responsible for developing the next generation flagship product of the company that ultimately produced tens of millions of dollars in revenue over a 5 year period (the product is still being sold).

Wearing All Hats!

As a member of a rapidly growing software company, I have worked in just about every position and role there is – Sales, Marketing, Finance (including raising venture capital) and R&D.

Chief Technology Officer

For all VP and SVP positions, I also acted as the Chief Technology Officer for the company.

Capital Raising

Raised $500,000.00 worth of angel financing for a small software company with extremely favorable terms. I was made partner/principal of the company as a result.
